Make your GO campaign peak season ready
Prepare your ads for peak season with simple, actionable recommendations.
Peak season is the moment to make every part of your GO campaign work harder. Use the checklist below to prepare your campaign, creative, video, coupons, and adaptive ads before your busiest shopping days.
1. Run your GO campaign across every available channel
For the strongest peak-season set-up, run your GO campaign across every available channel:
Display
Native
Social
Video
Using cross-channel reach helps you connect with shoppers across more touchpoints in one campaign. When Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, and the Open Web are both live on the same GO campaign, you can achieve up to 20% more performance at the same spend.

Already running a GO campaign?
Navigate to the Campaigns tab in the Criteo GO
platform
Click on Manage > Cross-channel reach to review your settings
Launching a new GO campaign?
Set up your ad sets as usual. During campaign creation, open the Design your ad section to select the channels you need. No manual design is needed for the additional channel placements.
2. Build your optimal creative set-up
Complete the following four updates to give your GO campaign more creative options to work with during peak season.
01. Refresh your social ads
Update your social headlines with your seasonal message, offer, or reason to buy.
Choose the product details you want to show dynamically.
Turn on video for Meta if you have suitable video assets.
Where to find it: Assets > Text > Ad text > Social headline
Dynamic elements: Settings > Social media > Edit
02. Add video
Upload a short MP4 video, or generate one with AI.
Review every AI-generated video before using it.
Add product overlays when you want to show specific products in the video.
Video requirements
Format: MP4
Maximum file size: 50 MB
Maximum duration: 30 seconds
Supported formats: square, vertical, or horizontal
Where to find it: Assets > Video or Settings > Video
03. Add a coupon if you have a live offer
Create your coupon from Ads > Coupons
Make sure the discount, dates, and terms match the offer on your website.
Check that the offer is still live before publishing.
Use coupons when they support your peak-season plan. Do not advertise an offer that shoppers cannot find or use on your website.

04. Make your adaptive ads peak-ready
Add fresh seasonal images and headlines.
Upload social images that are at least 600 × 600 px.
Use AI to create additional image options when needed.
Adaptive ads combine the images and headlines you provide to create different ad versions. Use them when you do not have a product catalog, or when running a Drive Discovery campaign.
